It's my DRIVER'S LICENSE!!

I didn't get the same examiner but I got another African American and I LOVE THAT MAN TOO! Haha...he was awesome....super super nice. Ok, so parallel parking, once again, I was a pro at home. My dad even created problems for me and made me correct it and I was able to do it. *sigh* But yeah, I barely made it...I was probably a bit over a foot from the curb and I used up my three drives and three reverses. ^^;;

So anyway, the road test was definitely not a problem. I stayed under speed limit to be safe but gosh, my examiner was awesome! He chatted with me...A LOT...somewhat of a distraction for both of us. Haha, I had to constantly ask him for directions cuz he'd just keep talking but it was nice too because I wasn't so nervous and it made the whole thing pass by quite quickly. There was a stop sign in this residential area that was covered by a tree and he was talking to me then (but when was he not? LOL) but I noticed it early on so I stopped and he was like, "Darn! I thought I'd get you there and you'd whine and say, 'but I couldn't see it!'"

So anyway, my dad said I made him really nervous...he thought I'd fail the parking again and so did I! Thank goodness for a nice examiner but I honestly can't understand why I can't do it there yet I'm fine at the parking lot with my dad. Oh wells, it's all over! Haha...so I came home and my dad decided we should tell my mom I failed again and of course, I was more than happy to go along with it. So, we get home and for five minutes, my mom goes on about how I failed again and how I shouldn't make fun of her now when she can't park in parking lots (but hey, I'm better than she is at that!). Tehehe...fun stuff. Now I can get a job!!!

Alright, enough about that but I've had a wonderful few days. WOW...I had my graduation party on Saturday, which my mom basically threw for me. I didn't wanna have one but I don't regret it now at all. It was a blast but I won't go into details cuz it's gonna take awhile. Haha...my mom's friends got to our house around 12:30 pm and my last friends left at around 12:50 am. Yeah, a 12-hour party! I was at 8:30 am because my mom said I needed to help, which is understandable. So I drag my tired butt out of bed and helped (I actually cooked!) and I didn't get to bed until after 3 am.

It was awesome though! We played DDR, video games, table tennis, and we also sang karaoke! ^_^ I didn't expect all the gifts. I told everyone I just wanted a card. ^_^ Well, I got tons of cards but let's see, I ended up with $140 cash, a $20 gift card, two necklaces, a surf board bulletin board type thing (really cute!), and an Ipod mini!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My sister and three cousins chipped in for it, although apparently, two of them have yet to actually hand over their share. Anyway, that definitely surprised me. My other cousin wasn't able to get me my gift, which she conspired with Amy to put together but the drug store screwed up her order. It's suppose to be a photo...not sure what it is still...sounds like a collage or something like that. Wow, I felt so loved and more than ever, I feel blessed and thankful that I'm surrounded by the people in my life right now.

Anyway, so I wake up the next morning at 9 am and I can barely open my eyes. It was the last seven for my grandpa so everyone was there. I was dead tired. Anyway, so no more trips to the temple Sundays. *sigh* I hope my grandparents are together and happy now. ^_^

I have a lot of pictures but I'll share them later. ^_^ Haha...lots of silly pictures too. I'll be sure to post them when I get around to resizing them and when I get the others from my cousin's digital camera.

Oh! But I had taken pictures with my grandmother (on my mom's side) awhile ago and she got them developped and sent one to my grandfather in China, who I haven't seen for 6 years now. Anyway, he didn't recognize me! Tehehehe...apparently, he freaked out because I had grown up so much. I'm planning on writing to him soon and sending over a few pictures of like prom, graudation, etc. She also got pictures of my baby cousin, Yan Hei. Remember her? Well, she's only 5 months but she looks older than that. Haha..she's so adorable!!!!!! It really is amazing how quickly a child grows and changes.
