Thursday
I went shopping in Philly again. I sound like a shopaholic...trust me, you'll see why. Haha..anyway, it was another long shopping trip with my mom and I once again ended up buying stuff though I tried to restrain myself from getting everything that I wanted. Haha...I settled for just a new top and a new pair of jeans. So far, within 3 days, I have 5 new tops, 1 denim jacket, and a pair of jeans. Ok...I think that was about all that happened Thursday.

Friday
No shopping! Haha...well, I'm having trouble remembering last week...hmm...OH! I called this company, Vector, that had sent me a shady letter about summer work opportunities about 2 weeks ago. Well, I call and a guy picks up and is in a rush to get me off the phone. It was really noisy and he said he had to help out so he got my name and number to call me back in 5-10 minutes. I couldn't find much information about the company. They didn't provide much info but it sounds like they sell kitchenware in a one-to-one style. So I was thinking...does it mean that if I don't get appointment with customers, I get no money? It didn't say anything about a commission, just $17.50 base per appointment. So my mom said it's probably not worth it. The closest location they listed is about a 35-minute drive. So anyway, I never did get that call back until about 4 hours later but I don't think I'll go for an interview.

Saturday
Got up early to go to New York! ^_^ I was so tired! Argh...still haven't found my sleep yet. We got there and hung out at my Aunt Jen's new CD shop in Flushing for awhile. Then we went out to have lunch at Gala Manor or something. It's a pretty restaurant. ^_^ We were able to drag my little cousin, David, from his mother because he was being a bad little boy and knocked over a bunch of CDs. Otherwise, he would've thrown a tantrum when Amy dragged him out. He ALWAYS gets obnoxious around his mother. *sigh* Oh, and that little boy in the picture from the last post was not my cousin. Anyway, so he says that whatever I eat, he'll follow. Haha...AWESOME! That means he'll actually eat! It went quite well.

After that, Amy and I wanted to get our hair cut so we did. My grandma said she'd take us to this salon. I had asked my cousin for a recommendation so I had an idea of where to go already but since my grandma wanted to take us, I followed her. While we were waiting, there was a little boy waiting for his mom to get her hair cut. Well, in a short 10 minutes, he had finished 3 lollipops and proceeded to stuff the sticks into his mouth. Then, he put the wrappers in his mouth too and his hands were covered in saliva. It was quite messy. He was really cute though.

So, I didn't like the cut at all...it was nothing like I wanted! T_T He cut Amy's hair first and although Amy's hair came out really nice, I had a feeling that my hair was in danger. Haha...he had a few people come in and he was rushing so he could get more business. *sigh* So yeah, instead of side bangs, I got ugly front bangs. I also didn't get layers around my face. My grandmother liked my cut more than Amy's though and asked why she didn't cut it like mine. Well, my grandmother's taste are different than ours. Haha...I looked kinda funny and after I got out of the salon, I was obsessively brushing my bangs, hoping to get them to the side. It kinda worked so it doesn't look quite as bad as it did. My mom asked why I didn't get him to fix it. Well, my hair is short as it is and he's already done a bad job...it could only get worse. I had a picture for him for Pete's sake! While he was drying my hair, he didn't even bother to brush it...he just ruffled it and then when he was done, brushed it quickly. A girl was blow drying Amy's hair and she was way more professional. She actually cared.

This is my attempt to improvise with the cut that I got. It actually looks alright in this picture because I didn't like the other picture I took......too ugly!!! Trust me, this picture doesn't do my bad haircut justice...you can't really see the bangs. It looks a lot worse!! Ask Amy! Those front bangs are horrible!!! I ended up clipping them to the sides for the next two days.

Anyway, afterwards, we get back and my cousin is throwing another tantrum. My aunt tells us to go out and get ice cream with him but he refuses to go and says that even if we buy it for him, he won't eat it. He said he didn't wanna eat anything then. Argh...I hate when he gets like that! So Amy and I go and we get him ice cream and come back and he's still sitting there being annoying. He refused to go to the bathroom!!!!! So yeah, guess what? He sits there and says, "I've already peed in my pants twice." I turn around and sure enough, his pants were getting soaked. >.< This kid is impossible! He'd rather pee in his pants than go to the bathroom. That's so messed up! So yeah....then he goes and hides and he refuses to go home. For one, he probably wanted to stay with his mom and two, he didn't wanna walk out with his pants all wet. *sigh* So we ended up going out to find him a cheap pair of pants to change.

For dinner, we went to another restaurant, which is quite popular. Their food is good though. ^_^ Last time we went though, the waiter was like trying to kick us out! Well, they had a lot of customers so they wanted to get us out ASAP so someone else could sit down. Well, we had a lot of people so it took awhile. Bad service but this time, he wasn't around and the waitress didn't try to kick us out. Anyway, during dinner, my cousin was messing around with his shirt collar. I told him to pop his collar and Amy helped him. Haha, there was a mirror behind us so he was checking himself out and then I said that it didn't look right so I told him to unbutton the first button. Haha...well, for some reason, he decided to rip his shirt open and I saw a button fly off. You had to be there but it was so funny! He was definitely embarassed and Amy and I just found it so hilarous. So there he is sporting the Jerry/Vanness look, exposing his chest. When we left, he had pulled his pants all the way up to his chest and I just thought he was being silly, as usual. Then Amy pointed out that he was trying to cover up. Ok, so you had to be there.

Anyway, we drop off my Aunt Jen at her house and stay awhile. David goes to take a bath and he's screaming in the bathroom...that was kinda funny. His mom said he was swimming in there - he likes to swim in the tub every night. HAHA

Then we leave around 10pm to go over to my uncle's house (from my dad's side...David is from my mom's side so from now on, it's my OTHER aunt that I will refer to ^^;;). They were at a graduation party in New Jersey so we let ourselves in. Haha...it felt kinda cool to have someone else's house all to ourselves but I basically went up to my cousin's room, grabbed two pillows from her closet, and just passed out on the floor until she came home. I was dead tired so when she came home and told us about the party, I could barely stay awake. No girl talk for me that night.

Sunday
I was still too tired to get up so I kept sleeping while Amy and my cousin were up and talking. We finally had to get up though. We went out to have lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant. Gosh, why are the meals always so friggin big!!!! It was good though but I just couldn't finish it but I was soooo sooo close! Haha...but oh, and walking to the restaurant, my cousin said that a guy was trying to look down my shirt!! Well, she says she's not positive but his eyes were looking in that direction. Ugh, PERV! I yelled that aloud too. Wonder if he heard it...but c'mon, I really don't have much for him to see anyway. I was wearing a white spaghetti strap under my top that didn't quite fit though cuz it was Amy's. Bad idea.

My aunt convinces us to stay over for dinner so we do. We go back to my cousin's house and we're all super tired from all the walking in the past few days and my cousin is sore from playing badminton and volleyball or whatever at the party. I changed out of my shirt into a t-shirt and once again passed out on her floor on top of the pillows and sheets I had folded up that morning...That is, until her mom tried to get us to go out and buy peanuts and drinks. We never went since we were tired. Here's Amy's so-called "masterpiece" of me passing out on the floor.



I decided to get my lazy butt up off the floor so then we mesed around with the camera while my cousin read "A Tell Tale Heart" by Edgar Allan Poe. That was funny. Not the story, which I read in 8th grade but the way she was reading it. Haha


We were giving each other evil looks. I was covering my ugly haircut with her hat. Haha...I think I was about to laugh there though....

So anyway, my cousin wanted to go shopping and her mom said she'd go with her so they came back to Pennsylvania with us. Shopping in NY is expensive...high taxes too whereas there's no tax on clothes here. ^_^

Monday
Independence Day! But I feel like I kinda missed it...usually, we go to a BBQ but this year, we missed it because we were in NY. So anyway, yeah, we went shopping from when malls opened at 10am until they closed at 6pm! I was so tired but I also ended up buying stuff again...another pair of jeans and a top. ^^;;I was tempted to buy a cap to hide my hair...LOL. My aunt ended up spending over $300!!!

My cousin and I tried on quite a few bathing suits and we almost bought them but decided that we don't even go swimming all that much. We tried on two-pieces. Hehe...I think I prefer one-piece bathing suits just because I'm too shy and conservative for two-pieces. ^^;;

We came home super tired and I tried to find out if there were fireworks in the area. While we were up in my room trying on clothes and just being girls, a friend calls and invites me to go see fireworks with him but then when he heard that I had relatives over, he said we could hang out another time. I didn't go since it was far and my dad didn't seem like he wanted to drive us. Poo.

Tuesday
I had to get up to go out to Chinatown. I was so tired. We stayed up late reading my magazines. Haha...anyway, we did a whole lot of walking around and ended up where we started. *sigh* They were looking for a restaurant to eat at. Afterwards, we dropped off my aunt and cousin to take the bus back to New York and then my mom wanted to go pick up something from her doctor. Her doctor was opening late though so we went to pick up groceries and afterwards, we stopped by her doctor's office. Well, it was about 1:30 pm maybe and she thought that they opened at 2 so we wait and wait and it gets super hot. Turns out they don't open until 3pm!!! >.< I was bored so I pigged out on cookies we bought and tried to sleep. Haha

Today
Not much happening. I barely slept in..got up at 10:30. Early! Haha...ended up talking on the phone with a friend for an hour until my cell phone died.

Wow...for having trouble recalling, this is quite a long post. Well, life has still been good. I had fun the past few days but I'm also pooped out and p.o.'d about my hair. It's a good thing my hair grows pretty fast. In the meantime, I'll improvise. Overall, I've been enjoying my summer vacation. ^_^
